El Reno 1562 miles

We had a real easy day today by design. It is time for a little maintenance on the scooters so we are rolling in to brass balls bobbers. They are located in Oklahoma city which is only 20 miles from us tomorrow. Today bob and Clyde rode along to see how we roll. I think they had a fun day just hanging out at the gas stops and seeing all of the hub bub when we pull in for lunch or gas. Handed out a couple of poker chips in sayer, our first gas stop. Hadn't been in the station more than a minute when the sheriff rolls in and comes over to talk. He was a great guy and very interested in our run to the wall. He had seen us roll through town and followed us to the gas station. Law enforcement seems to really like us in every town. This is a good thing. Another fellow by the name of Carl came over to talk as well. He heard us talking about lunch and suggested we stop 15 miles up the road at a place called j&p cafe. He said the food is great but you better hurry if you want a seat. We laughed and thanked him as we left. 15 miles later we pull up to this place in the middle of no where. There were pick ups lined up to hell and gone at 11:30 a.m. We got the second to last table and then all hell broke loose with people trying to get in for lunch. Good call Carl! We had a fabulous authentic Mexican meal that didn't even come close to breaking the budget. Next stop was binger oklahoma. Now let's check your knowledge of famous athletes. Whose home town is binger Oklahoma? No googling.give up? Johnny bench, one of the most famous baseball catchers of all time ,grew up there. If you saw the town today you would say holy crap, how did that happen. There is virtually nothing there but closed store fronts and empty car dealerships. Very sad to see but not uncommon across america. It was a short jump to el Reno. A stop at tractor supply for some camo suspenders, then auto zone for the 50 weight oil I need for my oil change tomorrow. Will be an early night tonight and some much needed rest. Kiwi tells me there will be a camera crew at brass balls tomorrow so that should be fun. Have a great evening! Adios until tomorrow.
